




Appointed to the Water Plc Board in July 1997, Liz previously held the position of Quality and Planning Director and Regulation and Asset Management Director. She is a chemist by profession and has over 20 years' experience in the water industry. Liz has represented the Company and the industry in a number of strategic Water UK groups with the Regulators, some of which she has chaired. She has previously been the Midlands area President of the Institute of Water Officers.
Appointed to Water Plc Board as Supply Director in September 2006, Keith had previously held the position of Supply & Resources Director from 2002. With nearly 40 years' experience in the water industry, Keith’s experience is predominantly in the field of production, ICA and energy management.
Rachel was appointed to the Board in October 2009 and has more than 20 years' water industry experience, joining the Company in 1990. She was previously Director of Customer Services and Director of Distribution and now undertakes the combined role as Customer Operations Director.
Matthew joined the Company in 1997 and has had a number of roles in the areas of regulation, distribution and customer services. Matthew was appointed to the Board in May 2009. His role as Regulation Director includes responsibility for the relationship with the water industry regulator, Ofwat. Matthew is heavily involved in business planning, competition issues and compliance. Matthew has an economics degree, an MBA and has studied leadership at Harvard Business School.
Steve Morley was appointed to the Board in April 2013. His main responsibility is to ensure South Staffs Water complies with the requirements and requests of the Drinking Water Inspectorate, as well as close liaison with many different stakeholders, ranging from the Environment Agency to CCWater in the Cambridge area. Prior to that he spent 20 years working for both Cambridge Water and Southern Water in similar roles.
Tim was appointed to the Board in April 2013 and has responsibility for the financial performance of the business. Tim graduated in geography from Downing College, Cambridge and went on to train as a chartered accountant with Grant Thornton. After four years in the British Virgin Islands with Deloitte, he returned to work for Scottish & Newcastle, ntl and more recently Enviros, an Environmental Consultancy which became part of Carillion plc. He joined Cambridge Water in March 2009 and South Staffs Water in April 2013.
Colin has 30 years' water industry experience, mainly associated with water distribution and asset management. He joined the Company in 2000, was appointed Director of Network Management in 2008 and joined the board in November 2011. He is responsible for underground asset management, network performance management, network engineering and hydraulic modelling and leakage management. Prior to joining the Company, Colin worked in a number of water companies in North East England, as well as at OFWAT and RPS Water Services.
