Water lot of coffee!
South Staffs Water has donated £2,000 in support of Macmillan Cancer Support's World’s Biggest Coffee Morning that was held on 25th September.
The charity is the one chosen by the company for support this year, and will receive a donation or support worth up to £5,000 in total.
John Morrall, Director of Corporate Social Responsibility with South Staffs Water said: 'We are really pleased to support this event. Macmillan Cancer Support provides an incredibly valuable service to local people in the community who are affected by cancer and we are very proud to support the vital work they undertake'
The Walsall based company has been working to help Macmillan throughout 2009 by participating in a range of fundraising activities including a World’s Longest Day Golfing challenge, which raised over £700.
Eloise Davidson, Fundraising Manager with Macmillan Cancer Support added: 'We are absolutely thrilled to receive such a fantastic donation and would like to thank everyone at South Staffs Water for thinking of us! This money will make such a difference to our work'
