As part of our Corporate Social Responsibility strategy we recognise the importance of working with local communities in order to encourage social and environmental benefits.
We actively support a wide range of schemes to help the development of our local communities. These include educational initiatives such as supporting practice interviews, offering work experience placements, going into schools and other organisations to give talks on water and the environment, participating in local events such as engineering roadshows and business awareness activities, and offering opportunities for teacher professional development.
In addition we provide educational opportunities for a wide range of people at our Education Centre located at Blithfield Reservoir. We also support many local schemes with help ranging from simple advice from our knowledgable staff to sponsorship for teams and events and initiatives.
In this section of the website you can find information about our reservoirs at Blithfield and Chelmarsh, both have their own fishing and sailing clubs and Blithfield has an Education Centre.
Amongst our other content, you can learn more about Water Aid, an international charity that we raise money for throughout the year, and you can learn more about the local groups and charities that we sponsor.
