Corporate social responsibility (CSR)

CSR and South Staffs Water

Businesses like ours have a moral obligation to ensure consistently high performance in our CSR delivery. We always work hard to achieve a balance between social, economic, and environmental objectives and we undertake many voluntary activities that help us contribute positively to our many communities.

We work very closely with a wide range of stakeholders including industry bodies such as Water UK, government organisations such as Natural England, and a host of other organizations, for example Education Business Partnerships.

• We manage our environments in a careful and sensitive way.
• We support many charities including WaterAid and the Air Ambulance Trust
• We get involved in a wide range of events around the area.
• We offer education provision at our Education Centre
• Members of our staff visit schools to give talks
• Members of our staff participate in a wide range of educational initiatives.

We aim to look after our staff by providing training, education and an excellent working environment, as well as social facilities and events and schemes to assist with personal issues.
