If you would prefer to get independent advice then there are a number of local advice agencies that may be able to help. These include the Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB) and Money Advice Centres. Please let us know if this is what you are doing.
It is our last course of action but if you don’t pay we will take you to court.
Charitable Trust
We have a Charitable Trust Fund, which has been set up to help you. If you are experiencing extreme financial difficulties and Water is amongst several outstanding debts then you should contact your local Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB).
The CAB will go through your financial circumstances and contact us on your behalf if they feel that you will meet our charitable trust criteria. By agreeing to, and maintaining a low-value payment arrangement the Charitable Trust may be able to make a grant towards your water charges arrears.
If you are unsure of how to contact the CAB or if you have any financial worries in regard to your ability to pay your water charges then please telephone us on 0845 60 70 456.
