We will be replacing 10km of water mains across Draycott in the Clay, Six Roads End and Marchington Cliff. 

When will the work take place? 

Work will take place from 12 January 2026, for a period of 16 weeks, on the following roads:

• Greaves Lane
• Hollybush Road
• Newborough Road
• Wood Lane

Our team will be working between the hours of 7:30am and 5:30pm on weekdays. Weekend and overnight work may be required to limit traffic disruption on occasion. 

Changes to traffic

Greaves Road and Wood Lane are currently closed and will reopen when the scheme completes on 1 May. Please follow the signed diversion route via Knightsfield Road, B5017 and A515. Access to frontages will always be maintained throughout the duration of the works. If, for any reason, we need to restrict access, we will speak to you in advance.
