Saving water

Why water matters

Every drop of our water comes from natural sources, including sandstone aquifers, the River Severn and the Blithfield Reservoir.
As summers get hotter and drier, these sources are under serious pressure. Staffordshire is now one of the UK's most water-stressed regions. The good news? A few small changes at home make a genuinely big difference.

What we’re doing

We tackle leaks head-on. Our engineers are out around the clock, finding and fixing before most people know there's even an issue. We're also investing £80 million to cut leaks by 20% before 2030, saving 10.8 million litres a day.

That's our move. And the champions on this page are making theirs. Together, we achieve far more than we can alone.
