We will be replacing 10km of water mains across Draycott in the Clay, Six Roads End and Marchington Cliff.
When will the work take place?
Work will take place from 5 January 2026, for a period of 12 weeks, on the following roads:
Our team will be working between the hours of 7:30am and 5:30pm on weekdays. Weekend and overnight work may be required to limit traffic disruption on occasion.
Changes to traffic
To complete the work as safely and efficiently as possible, we will be required to close Greaves Lane, Hollybush Road, Newborough Road and Wood Lane. From 5 January to 29 March, Greaves Road and Wood Lane will be closed with a signed diversion route via Knightsfield Road, B5017 and A515, whilst Hollybush Road and Newborough Road will be closed with a signed diversion route via B5234 and A515.
Access to frontages will always be maintained throughout the duration of the works. If, for any reason, we need to restrict access, we will speak to you in advance.
