We will be carrying out essential work to replace ageing water mains on Constance Avenue alleyway. These improvements are part of our ongoing investment to replace older water pipes, reduce the risk of leaks and provide a more reliable water supply for the future.

When the work will take place
Work is scheduled to begin on Monday 6th July 2026 and is expected to take approximately three weeks to complete. Our teams will normally work between 7:30am and 5:30pm, Monday to Friday. Occasionally, evening or weekend work may be required to reduce traffic disruption.
Traffic changesTo complete the work safely, the alleyway linking Constance Avenue and Glover Street will be closed for the duration of the renewal. Clearly signed diversion routes will be in place where necessary.
