We will be replacing the existing water mains and renewing service pipes that lead up to the boundaries of properties on the following roads:
When will the work take place?
Work will start on Monday 6 October - for a period of six weeks - on Askew Road at the junction with Brookside Close, progressing towards the junction with Springfield Road.
On Monday 26 October, work will begin on Hill View, before moving onto Meadow Close and Longlands. This will take approximately five weeks.
Our team will be working between the hours of 7:30 and 17:30 on weekdays. Weekend and overnight work may be required to limit traffic disruption on occasion.
Will traffic be affected?
To complete the work as safely and efficiently as possible, we will be required to close the following roads:
Access to frontages will be maintained throughout the duration of the works and a suitable diversion route will be in place.
