We will be replacing the existing water mains and renewing service pipes that lead up to the boundaries of properties on the following roads:
In addition to the mains renewals listed above, connections will also be made into the following streets: Remembrance Road, McDougall Road, and Coronation Road.
Work will start on Kent Road at the junction of Remembrance Road, and will progress through the scheme in the order listed above.
When will the work take place?
The work will take place for 10 weeks from Monday 29 September 2025.
Our team will be working between the hours of 7:30 and 17:30 on weekdays. Weekend and overnight work may be required to limit traffic disruption on occasion.
Will traffic be affected?
To complete the work as safely and efficiently as possible, we will be required to close the following roads:
Please note, Kent Road will be shut in phases, with the road closure moving along with the works as they progress.
Access to frontages will be maintained throughout the duration of the works, and a suitable diversion route will be in place.
