Work has started on phase two of an essential project to replace water mains in Stramshall.

The project is part of our ongoing improvement programme resulting in improved water quality and a reliable water supply to customers.

Where:
We will be replacing about 400 metres of water main along Hollington Lane. (Phase one saw 415 metres of water main replaced along Vicarage Drive and The Orchard in March 2020.)

When:
The work started on Monday 6 June 2020 and will continue until the end of June.

Will traffic be affected?
In order to carry out the works as safely and efficiently as possible in the narrow roads, there are road closures place. Access will be maintained to frontages at all times.

We are committed to investing in new water mains, to reduce leakage by at least 15% and to ensure our customers continue to receive a reliable and high-quality water supply.
